Cash, Check or Credit Card
With a gift of cash, you have a full tax benefit to
the maximum extent of the law. Please mail your
contribution to PO Box 515838, Dallas, TX 75251-5838
USA. Checks should be made to World Craniofacial
Foundation. You may also make a secure online donation

Pledges & Recurring Gifts
By making a pledge or recurring gift, you can give
affordable amounts of money regularly and consistently.
These small contributions add up over time and make a
lasting impact. Your gift can be made on a monthly,
bi-monthly, quarterly or semi-annual basis. It saves
time and stamps!
Honorariums & Memorials
A gift to the World Craniofacial Foundation in honor or
memory of a loved one or friend is a meaningful way to
celebrate their life and also benefit the lives of so
many others. Any gift - immediate or planned - may
be made in honor or memory of someone important to you.
The Foundation sends an acknowledgement to the person or
families with the donor's name and address. The
amount of the gift is kept confidential. Gifts of
all sizes can serve as a lasting symbol of friendship,
love and respect. When making such a gift, please
remember to include the name of the person to be
recognized and the name (if different) and address where
you would like the acknowledgement sent.
Wire Transfer
Send a gift directly to WCF via wire transfer
(electronic funds transfer). Please contact WCF for
wiring instructions.
Matching Gifts
Many companies offer matching gift programs,
encouraging current or retired employees or their
spouses or widows to contribute to charitable
organizations. Most companies will match contributions
dollar for dollar to double your gift. Please contact
your company’s Human Resources department for more
information.
IRA Deductions
Do you have a traditional or Roth IRA? Are you at
least 70½? If so, you have a unique opportunity to
contribute up to $100,000 from your IRA account without
incurring ordinary income taxes…as long as you do it by
December 31, 2007.
Donors who are over 70½ and not able to itemize their
tax deductions can transfer money directly from their
IRA account to a charity and achieve the same results as
if their gift were fully deductible. Plus, if donors are
receiving Social Security benefits, gifts from their IRA
account will not increase their adjusted gross income.
Funds must be received by December 31. Check with your
financial advisor or the IRS for full information.
Appreciated Securities Gifts of Stock
Appreciated stocks in a brokerage account or in
certificate form for stock that has grown in value will
provide support for the WCF at the full market value and
with no capital gains tax paid by the donor. Donors may
be able to take a charitable deduction on their federal
income tax for the market value of the securities at the
time of stock transfer.
Independent Retirement Accounts (IRAs)
The value of many estates can incur federal,
and possibly state, estate taxes as qualified retirement
plans accumulate. Designating a percentage of assets
from your plan to WCF may minimize the taxes due on
retirement plan assets.
Charitable Remainder Trust
A charitable remainder trust can be established
with cash, appreciated securities, real estate or other
marketable assets and managed by a trustee. With this
trust, the donor is provided with income until his death
(or the death of his designated beneficiary), or for a
specific term of years. When the trust expires, the
principal becomes available to the WCF.
Charitable Gift Annuity
When you make a gift of a charitable gift
annuity to the WCF, the Foundation reinvests assets and
guarantees to pay you a fixed income for life (and, if
desired, for another beneficiary’s lifetime). Upon the
death of the last beneficiary, the principal is
available to the WCF. The tax advantages may include
charitable deduction, income tax savings and estate tax
savings.
Life Insurance
You can name the WCF the beneficiary (or
co-beneficiary) on an existing life insurance policy. In
the event of your death, WCF receives the proceeds of
the policy as a bequest, which may generate federal
estate tax benefits. If you also make the WCF owner of
the policy and relinquish all incidents of ownership,
you may be able to claim an income tax deduction for the
cash surrender value.
If you would like to “dedicate” your gift to an
individual child, you may do so. Once the WCF’s support
for the child has been completed, any funds leftover
will go back into our general fund. Gifts are not
“restricted” to certain individuals because restricted
gifts are not tax deductible by U.S. law.
Grocery Shopping
When you use either your Kroger Cares or Tom Thumb
Rewards Cards, these stores will donate a percentage of
your purchases to WCF. Please call WCF to receive your
Kroger Cares card and sign up at Tom Thumb with WCF’s ID
#10823.
