Ebby Halliday AcersThe Foundation is honored to announce our first Honorary Board Member is the doyenne of the Dallas real estate scene, the esteemed Ebby Halliday Acers.  Those of you from Dallas will know her as “Ebby”, who is 96 years old and still driving to work every day!  She came to Dallas in 1938 to sell hats and shifted into real estate in 1945 by selling 50 ugly cement houses on the outskirts of town.  However, her impact reaches far beyond home sales. Ebby has always been very generous to the Dallas community and we are truly honored that she has agreed to be part of the Foundation.
