James R. Thompson Having built a successful career in U.S. capital markets, Jim joined ORIX USA, a diversified investment banking and financial services company, in 1991 to manage initiatives in the commercial mortgages securities market.  In 1997, Jim was named Chairman and CEO of Capital Markets.  He became CEO and President of ORIX USA in 2004.  Jim is passionate about the mission of WCF and focusing on our efforts where we have the greatest opportunity to make the most significant impact.  Jim is married to Angela (Murray) Thompson.  With an insatiable thirst for adventure, Jim spends time away from the office hiking, exploring secluded desert terrain, and flying his newly procured, authentic fighter jet.
