Family Care
Family Care Program
The Family Care Program consists of two major types of assistance. The first is in emergency situations to provide direct funding in life-
threatening situations. The second and more common practice of the Family Care Program, is assistance with ancillary expenses related to receiving medical care.
On a patient-by-patient basis, the World Craniofacial Foundation helps patients gain access to medical care by assisting with travel, lodging and other related expenses.

Emergency Surgical Care
The goal of the program is to facilitate direct funding for emergency surgical care for children in life-threatening situations where time is of the essence and all other funding options are denied.
Ancillary Care
The World Craniofacial Foundation provides grants for accommodations, transportation, food, medication(s) and other essentials for patients throughout their treatment.
With minimal craniofacial teams and surgeons available, families are forced to travel far from home over extended periods of time at great expense. Internationally, families must often leave their own countries to find treatment.
Referral Teams
The World Craniofacial Foundation has forged a network of Referral Teams to match patients with craniofacial teams around the United States and abroad. Please visit our Referral Teams page for team information.
