Luke – Oregon

Luke is a remarkable young man who is tackling the debilitating facial abnormalities associated with Golden Har Syndrome. Like so many of the children and young people we help, Luke has endured his course of treatment to rebuild his facial structure with an inspiring sense of optimism and dignity. His road to recovery has been long and challenging, but he has made great progress. Now cultivating active interests in skiing, rock music, and wildlife conservation, Luke currently works at Crater Lake National Park in Oregon, where he builds and maintains hiking trails.
